Welcome to festivalPass University where we try to demystify the language around Web 3, Blockchain, Crypto, and NFTs for our community so we can all learn and participate together.
When we set out to build festivalPass our vision was to create a place where our community of members could participate in a way not previously available in live entertainment. Most sources of acquiring tickets were a transactional experience and the community only existed IRL (In Real Life – a term often used in Web 3 that now you know) but not during the discovery and ticketing experience. We set out to make the experience of acquiring tickets to go to live events fair, transparent, passion driven and made for the community. As you will learn at festivalPass University, Web 3 is all about empowering the community through access, decentralized ownership and rewards for being and active member of the community.
